I remember thinking it was a pretty good deal, but I didn’t buy it right away. Fast forward to March 15, 2026, I checked again and the same drive is now $379.99. You can still find M.2 SSDs, even TLC drives with DRAM cache, at decent prices (at least decent based on December 2025/January 2026 standards). Things to try: Buy used and make sure to ask for CrystalDiskInfo screenshots of SSD stats before purchase. A lot of people will sell used 2TB drives that are practically brand new (98 - 100% life remaining) at 1TB drive prices. The exact same 2TB SSD I bought from Best Buy in 2023 now costs 3x more, despite it being on sale. ...
