ECC memory, i.e. working memory with automatic error correction, is not supported by the processor. The Intel Core i7-6700K is manufactured in a 14nm process and has a TDP (Thermal Design Power) of 45 watts. Thus, it is also clear that the processor should be installed in full PCs and not in notebooks or too small cases with insufficient cooling.
