Product Overview & Legacy

* Unique Design: The Triton 900 featured the Ezel Aero Hinge, allowing the 17.3" 4K touchscreen to flip, float, or lay flat. This made it a hybrid between a high-end gaming rig and a professional creative workstation. Notebookcheck Pcmag

* Core Specs: It was powered by 9th Gen Intel Core i7/i9 processors and a full-power NVIDIA RTX 2080 GPU, paired with 32GB of RAM. Acer Laptopmedia

Market Trends & Insights

* Depreciation: Originally retailing for $3,800–$4,500, its current secondary market value has dropped to $1,200–$1,800 as newer RTX 40-series laptops offer significantly higher performance for lower prices. Reddit Laptopmedia

* Successor Strategy: Acer has shifted the "900-level" extreme performance to the Predator Triton 17 X and the Predator Helios 18, which prioritize raw power and Mini-LED display technology over the swivel hinge design. Laptopmedia

* Sourcing Availability: On B2B platforms, dedicated "Triton 900" specific inventory is extremely scarce. Most available listings are for generic laptop spare parts (LCDs, keyboards) or older 900-series components like the GTX 960 GPU, rather than the complete flagship unit. Alibaba Alibaba
