Executive Level (EL) classifications have been developed to provide a consistent platform for classifying jobs. They accommodate the diversity of roles across the APS and are structured to clearly differentiate between the work expected (i.e. responsibilities and duties) at each classification level. An APS Level 3 employee would generally be required to undertake straightforward tasks although some tasks may have an element of complexity. They work under general direction against established priorities and procedures while exercising some autonomy about how work tasks are performed. Employees at this level are responsible for setting priorities and managing work flow for their role and producing work that is subject to routine monitoring by more senior staff. APS 3 employees undertake specialist, procedural, clerical, administrative support or operational tasks including some basic research and analysis activities. Employees may have a public contact role. Work may involve some limited supervision and support of employees at lower levels, as well as on-the-job training of members of a small work team. Generally, the work of an APS 3 is characterised by one or more of the following:

My whole team is aps 4 I am the only aps 3 so am I under paid or are they over paid same phone time and lines same processing time and same tags it's so unfair My friend got a job there recently, she works back of house - apparently this is where you want to be with minimal face to face interaction and only on the phones (this is the area for those who are potentially afraid of customer confrontation). She had extensive training, they did calls for I'd say about a month and now they are back training again for another 2ish+ months.
