Cisco announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco Codec Pro and Room Kit Pro. The last day to order the affected product(s) is May 19, 2026. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as shown in Table 1 of the EoL bulletin. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product(s). Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement. For customers with active and paid service and support contracts, support will be available under the terms and conditions of customers' service contract. ... Table 1. Below is a high-level overview of which devices continue on RoomOS 11 and which move forward on RoomOS 26. Note that previous generation devices running RoomOS 11 will continue to support currently compatible peripherals, such as the Cisco Room Navigator, Table Microphone Pro, and Quad Camera. For example, a Codec Pro (a current-generation device) paired only with a Cisco Room Navigator is supported on RoomOS 11.32 and earlier, and again on RoomOS 26 and later, but not on intermediate RoomOS 11 releases after 11.32. Since our products use bulk mode video streaming, using some USB-C cables with USB3 can cause intermittent video streaming issues on these laptops. To address this, we have introduced a new configuration feature that allows users to switch between USB2 and USB3 modes in such situations. Users can make these configuration changes via the codec web UI or over SSH. In RoomOS 11.5.2.4, we have updated the First Time Wizard to match the RoomOS 11 look and feel while keeping the functionality of the old wizard. This change applies to all products.
