The phrase 'CPE B593' refers to the Huawei B593, a pioneer in the 4G LTE router market. While it is now considered a legacy device, it remains relevant in specific industrial and rural markets due to its robust interface (specifically the rare inclusion of 4 LAN ports and RJ11 telephone ports for VoIP) 4Gltemall Alibaba.

Product Overview & Key Versions

The B593 is an industrial-grade Cat3/Cat4 router. The most critical distinction for buyers is the variant model, as frequency band support differs significantly 4Gltemall Openwrt:

* B593s-22 (Cat 4): The most popular version, supporting up to 150 Mbps downloads and a wide range of FDD/TDD bands (B1/3/7/8/20/38) 4Gltemall.

* B593u-12 (Cat 3): Standard version with 100 Mbps speeds, primarily for European bands Openwrt.

* B593s-516: Targeted at the Americas (supporting 850/1900/AWS bands) 4Gltemall.

Market Trends & Insights (2024–2026)

1Shift to 5G & Wi-Fi 7: The global wireless router market is rapidly transitioning toward Wi-Fi 7, with shipments projected to exceed 2.1 billion units by 2028 Mordorintelligence. For legacy devices like the B593, demand is shifting toward ultra-low-cost "refurbished" or "industrial-surplus" categories.
2The "RJ11" Niche: A unique market trend is the continued demand for CPEs with RJ11 ports. Newer entry-level routers often omit this feature, making the B593 a preferred choice for users needing integrated analog phone support for VoIP or legacy landline connections Alibaba.
3Security-First Purchasing: In 2026, 86% of consumers rank built-in security as their top purchase criterion Amraandelma. The B593’s aging firmware is a concern here; users often seek firmware "unlocks" or community-driven updates to mitigate legacy vulnerabilities Elektroda Hqcodeshop.

Consumer Pain Points

* Connection Stability: A frequent issue is the device dropping to 2G/EDGE speeds after long uptimes, requiring manual reboots Hqcodeshop.

* Indicator Lights: A purple (mulberry) light is a common point of confusion, usually signaling SIM recognition failure or missing PIN entry Openwrt.

* Firmware Limitations: Enthusiasts often complain about the lack of official OpenWrt support due to closed Broadcom drivers Openwrt.

I have identified several verified suppliers who can provide similar high-spec 4G CPE routers or customized versions with 4 LAN ports and VoIP functionality to meet your requirements.
