With 2025 coming to a close, what are we looking at for the new year? Well, a whole new year of new product releases, of course. The biggest is DJI, with its top-tier drones and amazing cameras, mics, and gimbals. This year saw regular upgrades to DJI’s staple products like the Mavic 4 Pro, Mini 5 Pro, and Neo 2. What hasn’t seen upgrades in 2025 are the Air and Avata series. It is very likely that we will see an Air 4 and Avata 3 in 2026 to continue keeping all of DJI’s products upgraded with the most recent features making it to other products. We haven’t seen any leaks or rumors of these drones coming yet, but that doesn’t mean they’re not in the works by the company. Mini drones have been used widely for these use cases, and it would make sense for DJI to capitalize on its popularity still. Also on the FCC list, DJI is planning to bring its 360 video tech to the skies. Similar to what Insta360 did with its Antigravity A1, the Avata 360 will likely be a sub-250-gram drone with two ultra-wide video cameras for 360 video.
