Having a 2.75-slot form factor enables EVGA to use a taller heatsink-and-fan assembly than on the dual-slot models. The cooling is very substantial, most likely overkill for what is a 210W TDP card, and leaves the XC Ultra looking overtly brutish compared to the Founders Edition card.

After playing many new AAA titles at medium/ low settings so my old 960’s could handle it I became frustrating that getting an rtx card was so difficult. Luckily I finally got my EVGA rtx 3060 xc and I couldn’t be happier. I thought I would want more like a 3060ti or 3070. But to be honest this card runs ultra settings with ray tracing and dlss on call of duty Cold War with my lg 1440p 144hz at 60-100 FPS. Very impressed with the performance. Runs COD Cold War on 115+ fps with high to ultra settings. Initially wanted a 3060 ti, but I cannot complain with this beast of a tiny machine. The cooling on this gpu is also stellar, never reached above 60C under full load.
