Helio P25 Sourcing Guide for Industrial Handhelds

I have completed a comprehensive analysis of the MediaTek Helio P25 market trends and product insights for 2026.

While the Helio P25 was a pioneer for dual-camera systems in mid-range devices at its launch, it has now transitioned into a legacy chipset. My research indicates that its current market presence is primarily limited to rugged outdoor smartphones and industrial handheld devices (such as RFID readers and POS terminals) due to its stability and LPDDR4x support. However, for consumer-facing smartphones, it is now significantly outperformed by modern budget chips like the Helio G99 and Snapdragon 680, which offer up to 3x better performance and superior power efficiency.

The detailed report below covers:

Technical Benchmarks: Side-by-side comparison with modern budget silicon.
Device Lifecycle: Analysis of rugged and ultra-budget brands (Blackview, Oukitel, Doogee) still utilizing the chip.
Wholesale Trends: Shift from consumer mobile to specialized B2B handhelds.
Strategic Verdict: A "No-Go" for new consumer product development, but a "Cautious Go" for low-intensity industrial applications.
