Huawei P30 Light
Overview
Product sourcing insights & recommendations
Research and sourcing for Huawei P30 series notification light modules indicate a significant hardware distinction across the series. While the standard P30 and P30 Pro models do not feature a physical notification LED, relying instead on Always On Display (AOD) XdaforumsAndroidcentral, the Huawei P30 Lite (MAR-LX1) includes a dedicated physical LED hidden within the top-left corner of the earpiece speaker grill Reddit.
Sourcing Strategy & Quality Comparison
Replacement for this light is typically integrated into the Proximity and Ambient Light Sensor Flex Cable assembly rather than a standalone module.
* Original (OEM Pulled): Highly recommended for the P30 Lite to ensure sensor accuracy and LED brightness. Bulk pricing for original-quality sensor flex cables typically ranges from $2.45 to $3.50 depending on volume.
* Aftermarket (Premium): More affordable at $0.98 to $1.85 per unit Deviceparts. While functional, aftermarket LEDs may appear dimmer due to lower-quality surface-mounted components.
Market Demand & Repair Trends
The global smartphone repair market is projected to reach $45.3 billion by 2035, with a significant focus on extending device lifecycles beyond four years BusinessresearchinsightsYahoo.
* Demand Driver: The P30 series remains popular in secondary markets as one of the last Huawei flagships with full Google Mobile Services support Youtube.
* Maintenance Note: "Faulty" notification lights on the P30 Lite are often caused by dirt obstructing the speaker mesh rather than hardware failure, driving a niche demand for mesh replacement parts rather than full flex cables Reddit.
I have compiled a list of relevant earpiece and sensor flex replacement parts from Alibaba suppliers, along with pricing benchmarks for comparison. You can find these details in the deliverables below.

r/Huawei on Reddit: P30 Lite Pulse notifications LED won't work
www.reddit.com
It's been a while since I got my P30 Lite and I really like it. I used to use the LED notifications to track on messages and such, but a couple of months ago it stopped working. Before, the LED would blink white when charging and red for WhatsApp; but now it doesn't even blink whatsoever. To do that go to settings - - > Notifications - - > more notification settings - - > turn on the first setting ... It s the grill/protecționism of the ear speaker that has the tiny holes blocked with dirt. The lefthand side corner that s where the led is, underneath the black grill. Take a multithread small gauge copper conductor and with one of the threads carefuly insert in the holes, use a toothbrush and vacuum cleaner to extract the dirt, but carefuly at the vacuum power ... New to Huawei phone. One more thing: I saw on a thread on Huawei's community right here that uninstalling all updates to de Messages app could also fix this issue, but alas, here I still am. I downloaded an app called "LED Tester" to give the LEDs a try, yet all I can see is darkness. In today's Episode of "Huawei Hooligans", we find out the Mate 70 pro's original factory version arrives with a "Slide the power key to access notification panel" feature. And by the Mate 80 series's launch? It was removed. Huawei's official stance?

There is a tiny notification LED on the left side in the top "grill". Barely visible, there's a setting for it in notifications tab but not much you can do except enable/disable. Or is this Lite only? Click to expand... Click to collapse Definitely not on the normal P30, only other thing on the top of the phone other than the camera is the light/proximity sensor You guys might also want to have a look here: https://xdaforums.com/huawei-p30/how-to/control-aod-led-alternative-automate-t4028543 It's a bit annoying not having an LED but I'm using Always On Edge which works nicely for notifications, even managed to get it to circle the notch. Uses a bit of battery though. ... I am using LED Blinker Pro, perfect, even better then a hardware LED !!! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ledblinker.pro&hl=en ... r/Huawei on Reddit: P30: Any good LED notification apps?
www.reddit.com
Discover cutting-edge technology, get tips and tricks, and join a vibrant community celebrating Huawei's innovative products and services. ... Hi! So I recently bought a P30, and I like it a whole lot. My only complain is the lack of LED notifications when I get messages from Telegram or other notifications. Yes, but as I wrote I don't really like having AOD on. I would like a small blinking LED when I have a notification, but seems like there's no good, reliable way for it to work on the P30 at the moment. ... Welcome to r/Huawei - the hub for Huawei enthusiasts! I don't really like the AOD or the option that turns the screen on when I receive a notification. Is there any way to get something akin to a LED indicator, or do I have to get used to living without it? Posted by u/Rawbban - 4 votes and 4 comments
