For me i just reinserted the sim and it was working again. ... can someone confirm if the only way to use mobile data is to use it when turning the hotspot and connecting the hotspot as wifi on my iphone and then use it? You have to use ikos app for both messages and calls etc. for data, it’ll create a hotspot for you to connect to through wifi. How about your data breach? Since everything works on the ikos app and it's a Chinese product always doubtful and shady.

Posted by u/SuccessfulAct434 - 1 vote and 25 comments I’ve used it and my experience is really horrible I owned the K7 4g variant one and it had 2 sim slots So in order to make it work properly you have to keep the ikos app open in the background with bluetooth connected for sim calls and wifi for data and to add on to that it ikos app has been banned from Pakistan region of Appstore so in order to install that you have to switch region to US maybe or any other country and by doing that all of your other in App purchases will switch to us too so you might be charged more than you previously used to be Battery life would last not that much on wi From what I understand, IKOS is basically a Bluetooth/WiFi SIM adapter that lets you use calls, SMS, and data on a non-PTA phone by routing the SIM through the device instead of the phone itself. Ikos k1s is pure beauty, forget k7 and buy k1s here is why : -Way small like a keychain js throw in wallet and forget -Comes pta approve no hectic of changing imeis, which technically k7 is illegal to use but k1s is not -way better battery life(5-6 days) compared to 4 hours hotspot and barely a day with calls -no frequent disconnections from app like k7 (tho I have heard they fixed it with recent update this week) Either ways I own a k1s and for me I receive bank otps of easypaisa and JazzCash as well as app works in background
