Infinix Note 40 Lcd
Overview
Product sourcing insights & recommendations
The market for Infinix Note 40 LCD and AMOLED display assemblies is characterized by high demand in emerging economies like Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America, driven by the device's popularity since its 2024 release AlibabaAccio. While the device ships with a high-spec AMOLED panel, the aftermarket is segmented into three primary quality tiers: original-spec AMOLED, third-party AMOLED, and budget TFT/Incell options AlibabaAlibaba.
Market Dynamics & Sourcing Insights
* Segmented Pricing: Original-spec AMOLED assemblies typically range from $45 to $66, while third-party Incell/TFT replacements are available for as low as $7 to $15 AlibabaAlibabaAlibaba.
* Supply Concentration: The manufacturing and wholesale hub is centered in Shenzhen and Guangzhou, China, with large-scale suppliers like Shenzhen PULUZ and Ganzhou Pangniu Technology dominating the B2B landscape AlibabaAlibaba.
* Demand Drivers: Market research indicates consistent demand for replacement screens due to the high volume of device sales (>45 million units globally) and the rising costs of full-device replacements Accio.
Technical & Consumer Trends
* AMOLED Dominance: Factory units for both 4G (X6853) and 5G (X6852) models utilize 6.78" 120Hz AMOLED panels. Using TFT replacements often leads to higher battery draw, lower peak brightness (lacking the 1300 nits OEM spec), and viewing angle washout ActionAlibaba.
* Critical Issue: Ghost Touches & Updates: A significant trend in consumer feedback involves ghost touches and touch failures after XOS firmware updates when using non-OEM screens GsmarenaAlibaba. Some third-party panels require manual recalibration via engineering mode after updating to Android 15 Alibaba.
* In-Cell Integration: Most high-quality assemblies now use in-cell touch integration to minimize air gaps, though this increases the complexity and risk of glass-only repairs Alibaba.
