As of 2026, InFocus is no longer an active manufacturer in the smartphone market, having strategically pivoted to focus exclusively on Professional Audio-Visual (AV) solutions, such as projectors and interactive displays Alibaba Alibaba.

1. Product Status & Availability

There are no new InFocus smartphone models released in 2024, 2025, or 2026. The brand has essentially become a "legacy" player in the mobile space Alibaba.

* Legacy Models: The most recent devices identified are from the mid-to-late 2010s, including the InFocus Vision 3 Pro and Turbo 5 Plus Gadgets360 Alibaba.

* Wholesale Market: Current B2B listings (e.g., on Alibaba) for "InFocus" now primarily feature refurbished stock or new-old-stock (NOS) inventory sold as ultra-budget or secondary devices, often priced under $150 Alibaba Alibaba.

* Market Absence: In primary retail channels, the brand has been largely displaced by high-growth competitors like Xiaomi, Samsung, and Realme, who dominate the budget 5G segment where InFocus once competed Alibaba Cnet.

2. Market Trends & Insights

* Strategic Pivot: The discontinuation of InFocus phones reflects a broader consolidation trend where smaller "disruptor" brands have been squeezed out of the low-margin smartphone sector, leading them to retreat into niche professional hardware Alibaba.

* Consumer Sentiment: Insights from 2026 indicate that while legacy InFocus users still value the physical durability and long battery life (up to 2 days) of older models, the brand is increasingly unviable due to outdated software (Android 7/Nougat) and a lack of 5G connectivity Alibaba.

* Usage Niche: These devices now serve a niche market for basic communication, field work, or as first-time smartphones for senior users who prioritize simplicity over app compatibility Alibaba Accio.

3. Current Core Business

For those following the brand today, InFocus remains a leader in:

* Interactive Flat Panels: The JTouch 13 series for classrooms and boardrooms Infocus.

* Projection Technology: High-end Quantum Laser and LED projectors for commercial use Alibaba.

If you are looking for current smartphone inventory, it is recommended to explore modern budget brands that offer active security updates and 5G support.
