Choice basically comes down to save a $1 on a screen or have a phone screen flipped and out the door and make $60+ for the same amount of labor.. kinda the same deal with refurbishing in house, especially in a market (like most of the US) that doesn't demand OEM Refurbs.. A supplier of mine gave me a bunch of backlights he didn't need so I tried the repair on an old 6S screen I had.
