I have to reconfigure my build environment, so it may be a few days before I can try to compile an M8S+ from drieschel's LE version. Kerber is a developer for some custom Amlogic builds, his Github account is here: surkovalex (Alexandr) · GitHub He has some good knowledge about Amlogic and also seems to have access to AML source code with Git history. He helped me in the past to make some things work for S805 boxes. I don't know if he's willing to join LE community, though. As for S812 boxes, if you have some knowledge on compiling OE/LE, you can grab my LE fork, modify options file to reflect your device and grab Kodi patches from WeTek Core project. I use LibreELEC-MX3G.arm-7.0.1.4.xz for my clone M8S (Amlogic S812). It works well, except remote. (LibreELEC use only 1GB RAm instead of 2, but 1 GB enough for LibreELEC) I extract remote.conf from M8S 's Android firmware and put into Kodi's config directory. I have dual boot my M8S box and its working great. However keen to have Krypton as this version is Jarvis only. Tried looking every website I can but no luck. Tried downloading Alexelec as alternative but the img file after unzipping shows it is corrupted. AlexELEC-S812.M8S.arm-2.2.2.img.gz. I have an Acemax M8S+ running on an old kerber ROM (Openelec 6). It still works great, but the recent vulnerability has made me look for an update to the latest Kodi. After some research, I found this post as the final word for what I'm looking for.
