I now have the turtle Beach velocityOne. It's a bit cheap quality wise. Feels not too dissimilar to the Logitech shifter but that's not the worst thing in the world. It's mounting holes are unique which makes mourning it a pain in the ass. The h pattern is better feeling than its sequential mode. I had the fanatec shifter for about three years until the h pattern stopped working. Sequential was unaffected. I would say, it's fairly high quality for its cost, but like with all things fanatec, if you're not fully invested in their ecosystem, you're gonna have a tough time... SHH has a solid thunk in sequential mode. Just a fair heads up. ... Oh, really? I thought that the general consensus is that it is pretty quiet. ... I heard the same thing then I saw clips of people rowing through the gears and yeah it’s loud..I’m in similar boat as you play at night and my rescue pup also hates a loud shifter learned the hard way lol. Just finished mounting my new sequential shifter from Simagic Q1 and the load cell handbrake from Heusinkveld. This shifter has little to none noise issues and though it does not provide the tactical feel and fun of a sequential stick shifter, it's real fun to use. So do paddle shifters, yet we're still to see a device that creates some extra transmission noise in our rigs, so what's the point? I bought this one as a replacement for the Sim Jack shifter because stupid me thought "S" was for "silent". I was so wrong. Apparently it is quieter that its big brother Q1, but still it makes a ton of noise I could neither justify to my wife nor to myself.
