SciPhone is a brand of Shanzhai cellular phone associated with a Chinese company called Bluelans Communications which produced imitation mobile phones using the designs of major brands of mobile phones. These phones were usually low priced. For example, it produced counterfeit devices that were very similar to Apple's iPhone and featured its basic functionalities.

The SciPhone i68+, sometimes written as SCIphone i68+, is a dual-SIM "Shanzhai" iPhone bootleg released by Bluelans Communication, Inc.[1] in late 2008. This is one of the most well-known iPhone clones, and was mainly sold on online stores like DealExtreme[2] until around late 2011. SciPhone i68+ (2009): Ditto. iphone 188 (2008): Displays "iPhone" on the back and on the IMEI sticker, as well as ”Manufacturer:Sciphone Inc. SciPhone i9+ (2009): Small UI tweaks. There are many subvariants of the i9+ with a few UI tweaks. I9A: Almost identical to the i6. The iPhone text and Apple logo return to their original positions. When a microSD card is inserted into the SciPhone i68+, the card's capacity in the file manager is reported as eight times its real capacity. However, upon testing with a 16 GB card, the card's actual capacity is shown. Finally managed to get the Sciphone F8, or rather a version of it, since it came in multiple hardware variants. This specific one is MTK6253-based, running MAUI skinned to look somewhat alike iOS 4. Contrary to what’s stated in the phone’s advertising material and firmware, it is not able to run J2ME apps (maybe it’s MRE-compatible), nor is WiFi-equipped. Yup, I remember that one quite well; MTK MAUI skinned as Android 1.0. Very surprising how flexible MAUI actually is, to be skinned with fairly low effort in order to look like other OSes (iOS on my Sciphone F8, Android on this one and S30+ on early HMD manufactured phones like the Nokia 216 or the 230).
