Serit Dvb C Tuner

The phrase "serit dvb c tuner" primarily refers to the specialized tuner modules produced by Serit Electronics, a Hong Kong-based manufacturer. These modules are iconic in the Digital Amateur Television (DATV) community, particularly for the MiniTiouner project, due to their ultra-wide frequency coverage and low-symbol-rate reception capabilities BatcBatc.

1. Core Product: Serit FTS-4334LV

The Serit FTS-4334LV is the current flagship NIM (Network Interface Module) in this category. It replaced the older FTS-4335V and is widely regarded as the gold standard for high-performance DVB-S/S2/C/T reception in non-consumer applications Batc.

* Key Technical Specifications:

* Frequency Range: 143 MHz to 2450 MHz (covers 2m, 70cm, 23cm, and 13cm bands) Batc.

* Demodulator: STMicroelectronics STV0910A Batc.

* Features: Integrated Low Noise Amplifier (LNA), support for symbol rates below 1 Msps, and dual-receiver capability (though typically used in single-mode) BatcVivadatv.

* Status: Active but scarce; recent price increases are driven by the rising cost of the STV0910A chip Batc.

2. Market Trends & Insights

* Transition from Legacy Chips: The market for these specific NIMs is shrinking as older STV0903 and STV0913 chips go obsolete. Serit has maintained a niche by securing the last remaining stocks of high-end demodulators BatcAmsat-On.

* Rise of Amateur Satellite TV: The launch of the Es'hail-2 (QO-100) satellite has driven consistent demand for Serit tuners, as they are the only modules capable of receiving DVB-S2 signals across the satellite's wide range without downconverters Batc.

* Consumer Shift: In the broader commercial market, DVB-C tuners are increasingly integrated into All-in-One LCD Driver Boards rather than standalone NIM modules. Current B2B listings show a pivot toward PCI TV tuner cards for high-density server applications rather than modular DIY tuners AlibabaAlibabaAlibaba.

* Supply Chain Constraints: Prices for Serit modules have surged (recently quoted at approximately £54 via the BATC) due to global semiconductor supply issues affecting legacy STB (Set-Top Box) components Batc.

3. B2B Sourcing Overview

For wholesale or industrial sourcing, standalone Serit NIMs are difficult to find on mainstream platforms like Alibaba.com, which now favor integrated receiver solutions or PCI Octa Tuner cards Alibaba.
