How to Replace Sunrex Keyboards on MSI Laptops Safely

I have completed a comprehensive analysis of Sunrex keyboards for MSI laptops and the associated market trends. Sunrex Technology Corporation is currently the world's largest laptop keyboard manufacturer and a primary ODM for MSI Sunrex.

A critical finding for product maintenance and sourcing is the hardware-firmware lock: while different Sunrex keyboard revisions (such as the V123 and V139 series) may physically fit the same MSI chassis, their internal diode matrix encodings differ. This means they are only functional if the laptop's Embedded Controller (EC) firmware specifically supports that hardware version; otherwise, key inputs will be scrambled Msi.

Market-wise, the keyboard industry is projected to reach USD 11.17 billion by 2026, with a major focus on AI-integrated "Smart Keyboards" and high-performance gaming peripherals, which currently account for roughly 33% of the market Businessresearchinsights.
