That comes out to $61 U.S, which is a bit lower than what you'd find something comparable for in North America or Europe. Tigo backs its T-One with a three-year warranty, but specifies an endurance rating of just 76 TBW. This is a very small value for a high-capacity SSD, though to be fair it matches Samsung's 250GB 850 EVO. Abundant flash availability, affordably-priced processors and a growing market are encouraging more companies to jump into SSDs. Today we're looking at a result of those forces in the form of an entry-level drive from a brand you've never heard of. I'm glad we tested the Tigo T-One 240GB SSD, because it allowed us to make a good point about low-cost SSDs. With so much low-cost flash available, these products are already entering the market and showing up on reputable online stores. It's important to remember that these products hold data that can be lost forever. Abundant flash availability, affordably-priced processors and a growing market are encouraging more companies to jump into the SSD segment. Meanwhile, oversupply and low manufacturing costs in Asia make solid-state storage less expensive. By 2004, it had become China's largest supplier of memory. Many of the company's products were sold to OEMs and later re-branded.

The Tigo G5 might be from across the globe, but it's more like a product from another world. The drive features a unique feature to save power, but it also takes premium SSDs to a new level. The first two entry-level NVMe SSDs, the Intel 600p and MyDigitalSSD BPX, came to market in late 2016. High-end products moved down a tier to fill out the mainstream NVMe marketplace, like the Patriot Hellfire M.2 and Plextor M8Pe series. The Samsung 960 EVO joined the mainstream group, as did the older Samsung 950 Pro. We don't know a lot about the Tigo G5 at this time, and the company doesn't list random read or random write performance. The Tigo G5 doesn't look like a stellar performer compared to the fastest consumer SSDs in the world, but the drive does deserve to be on the list. The G5's performance is slightly higher than the Intel 600p, and we've already shown that the 600p is faster than the best SATA-based products ever made.
