* Pricing & Supply Volatility: Equipment prices are currently at an unusual low due to full vendor portfolios, but an AI-driven component shortage is expected to cause lead-time volatility and price increases through 2026. Delloro

* The MLO Advantage: The most significant technical trend is Multi-Link Operation (MLO), which allows devices to use multiple bands (2.4, 5, and 6 GHz) simultaneously, reducing latency to sub-millisecond levels and ensuring rock-solid stability in dense environments. Veruscorp Modemguides

Key Product Insights

* Theoretical Speeds: Wi-Fi 7 PON modems offer throughput up to 46 Gbps, nearly 5x that of Wi-Fi 6. Veruscorp

* Spectrum Efficiency: Features like 320 MHz channels (double the width of Wi-Fi 6) and 4096-QAM allow for 20% more data density per signal. Tp-Link Veruscorp

* Real-World Gains: Switching to a Wi-Fi 7 ONT has been shown to double upload speeds for fiber customers by better utilizing the 6 GHz spectrum. Potsandpansbyccg

Competitive Landscape
