Product Overview: WPS-Dongle 2 (WGA-120)

The device was designed as a "chocolate-bar" sized VGA dongle that allowed laptops to project wirelessly to old-school projectors.

* Legacy Specs: It featured 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, VGA-only output (up to 1280x800), and a unique PoVGA (Power over VGA) feature that allowed it to draw power directly from compatible projectors Justprojectors P2M-Int.

* Key Capabilities: It supported 4-to-1 split-screen displays and a "Plug & Show" USB token system for driverless projection, which was revolutionary for the Windows XP/7 era Justprojectors Tokopedia.

* Compatibility: While it supported Mac and early smartphones (MobiShow), it lacked modern 4K support and low-latency streaming required for today's video-heavy presentations Justprojectors Fuji.

Market Trends & Insights (2024–2026)

The wireless presentation market has shifted dramatically since the peak of the WPS-Dongle 2.

Current Sourcing Landscape

Finding a direct "WPS-Dongle 2" for new installations is difficult, but several modern alternatives exist for those still needing VGA support:

* Budget Replacements: Devices like the MiraScreen X6W offer dual VGA/HDMI support and 4K capabilities at a much lower price point ($30-$33) compared to legacy enterprise units .

* Enterprise Standards: The Barco ClickShare CS-100 remains a high-end benchmark for reliability, though it primarily uses HDMI and costs significantly more ($850+) .

* Generic OEM: There is a robust market for unbranded wireless display gateways that still include 802.11n support for older infrastructure .
